ALEC Re-Closer and Regulator School

Description

This course encompasses voltage regulator installation, controls, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Training on internal components and different types of control panels is emphasized. Hands-on training for the re-closer and regulator includes system protection and coordination, installation, controls, and fusing. In addition to learning about automated types of equipment, each student is taught maintenance and troubleshooting for single-phase and three-phase re-closers.
