Conley Bourgeois becomes Certified Cooperative Communicator

The Association of Louisiana Electric Cooperatives (ALEC) is proud to announce that Communications Coordinator, Conley Bourgeois, has successfully earned the Certified Cooperative Communicator (CCC) designation, a nationally recognized credential awarded by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).

The CCC program is an intensive professional development initiative that combines more than 110 hours of in-person and online coursework. Participants strengthen their crisis and strategic communication skills while developing new expertise to better serve cooperative members. To maintain certification, CCCs must complete annual training to stay current on industry changes and best practices.

Conley Bourgeois has served as ALEC’s Communications Coordinator for three years, supporting the cooperative network through storytelling, media relations, and member engagement.
